Snakes, Lizards, Crocodiles and turning 4!

On Sunday Leo had his 4th birthday party! It was a wonderful day and well worth all the effort! Dan and I worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect. Cake included!

It is really hard to entertain 18 children so I organised Dr Crunch to come and spend an hour with the kids. This hour entailed lots of cold blooded reptiles being passed around the children and may I say the adults became quite involved too. There was lots of patting and draping of snakes around necks and lets not forget all the munching of party food.

I have a feeling there were a lot of hyperactive children that left our house on Sunday. I must say parties are fun and I can't wait to do the next one!

The snakes did not seem to bother either of my boys, I on the other hand felt a little squeamish. The crocodile was my favourite!

  1. Hi Sarah - thanks so much for linking out to my blog. I've not come across yours before but loved what I saw, I must pop a link on my blogroll to yours.
What lovely children, with that beautiful blond wavy hair - and what a fabulous looking birthday cake. Our two oldest have their birthdays soon and we've been struggling to find something to entertain them - must see if there's a "Dr Crunch" type in our part of the world.

  2. Thanks for the comment. I love reading your blog. My boys love looking at the pics of the chickens especially. We are just in the process of organising a run and coop, so soon they will have their own chooks to look at. Yes Dr Crunch was a hit! Hope you find somthing similar in your part of the world.
